Course details

Duration: One-day

Location: This course is run remotely online.

Power BI is a powerful data visualisation tool that allows businesses to monitor data, analyse trends, and make decisions. This course is designed to provide a solid understanding of the front end of Power BI, the dashboards. This is where users can interact with dynamic visualisations that communicate trends in their data.

This course focuses entirely on the creation and design of dashboards with visualisations, including a range of chart types, engaging maps, and different types of tables. Designing dashboards with KPI’s (key performance indicators), heatmaps, flowcharts, sparklines, and compare multiple variables with trendlines.

To wrap things up, you will learn how to share your reports online using Power BI service, pinning your report visuals to dashboards, and sharing them with colleagues inside or outside your organisation.

Prerequisite

My assumption is you are already using Power BI and your only requirement is to create or manipulate dashboard visualisations. If not, I recommend attending the Power BI Introduction course first.
