Course details

Duration: 1-day

Location: This course is run virtually online.

Power BI is a powerful data analytics and visualisation tool that allows business users to monitor data, analyse trends, and make decisions. This course is designed to give you a solid understanding of the front end of Power BI, the reports. This is where users can interact with visualisations that communicate trends in their data.

This course focuses entirely on designing and customising visualisations, including charts, engaging maps, and tables, making it easy to manage and interact with a dashboard model. Learn how to work with data from open-source websites, create visuals such as heatmaps and sparklines, and compare multiple variables with trendlines,

To wrap things up, we demonstrate how to share your reports online with Power BI Service, pinning your reports to dashboards and sharing them with your colleagues.

Prerequisite

Our assumption is you have a reasonable knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create pivot tables and charts.
